About Me

Hi, I’m Gary, founder of ClariTay.

For more than 20 years, I’ve worked across project management, programme support, governance and operational leadership roles in healthcare, banking and the technology sector.

My career has involved leading projects, coordinating complex pieces of work, producing clear reporting, working with senior stakeholders and leading operational teams.

Through that experience, I’ve developed a practical strength: understanding how work gets done, spotting where processes have become unnecessarily complicated, and identifying the gaps, bottlenecks and recurring problems that make day-to-day operations harder than they need to be.

That way of thinking is what led me to create ClariTay.

The ClariTay Small Business Review gives owner-managed growing businesses an opportunity to step back from the everyday pressure of keeping everything moving and look more clearly at how their business operates.

Using the ClariTay Three Lens Method, I consider the owner’s perspective, the team’s experience and what happens in practice. This helps build a clearer picture of what is working, where operational friction is building and what should be addressed first.

I won’t pretend to know your trade better than you do, or claim to have run a business like yours.

You bring the knowledge of your customers, your people and your industry. I bring an independent perspective, a structured review process and experience of working with processes, governance, delivery and operational challenges.

The aim is not to overwhelm you with theory, management jargon or a generic report. It is to give you clear, prioritised and practical recommendations that can help reduce unnecessary complexity and make your growing business easier to run.
